Sasha Johnson (shown), a British Black Panther associated with the U.K’.s Black Lives Matter movement, says the government should create a “race offenders’ register” that would prevent those listed on it from finding work if they were found to have committed “microaggressions.”
The activist also argued that blacks should receive “reparations.” Johnson first gained media attention in July due to a viral video in which she claimed British police are “no different than the KKK” and called for a “Black Militia” to combat racism.
She is now a member of the executive leadership of a political party known as Taking the Initiative Party (TTIP), which Johnson once called the first black-led political party in Britain (but she now refers to it as merely “black founded”).
In detailing the party’s manifesto, Johnson said there should be a “race offenders’ register” that would list those “guilty” of microaggressions (unintentional discrimination against minorities) and keep them from “certain fields” of employment, potentially even banning offenders from living near racial minorities.
Furthermore, she told the Daily Mail that “It’s similar to the sex offenders register. If you were to be racially abusive to someone, [the register] would question whether someone is fit enough to hold a particular job where their bias could influence another person’s life.”
“A lot of racism happens at work and places of education in a micro-aggressive way. If you exhibit an element of bias at work, you should probably receive a warning first [before later being added to the register] so people know in future that you hold these views,” the activist added, going on to argue that “If you live in a majority-coloured neighbourhood you shouldn’t reside there because you’re a risk to those people — just like if a sex offender lived next to a school he would be a risk to those children.”
Johnson went on to demand reparations be given by the British government over historical slavery because capitalism “holds us down.”
“Reparations can take the form of tax-free periods, which would give time to build back up economic stability in black communities,” she said, adding: “We have to remember that the Jewish community received reparations for the Holocaust, and no one speaks about forgetting the Holocaust.”
Back in August, when she announced the formation of TTIP, Johnson said: “We are tired of being let down by Labour, Conservatives, and Lib-Dem and all of them. We want our own political party, one that reflects the multicultural nation that we have become.”
Johnson’s hysterics are another example of delirium from the Left that would be disastrous for freedom and Western civilization.
One of the problems with trying to outlaw “racism,” especially when it comes to subtle “microaggressions,” is that, for the Left, racism means whatever they want it to mean. And ultimately, they will define it as merely anything on the right-wing side of the political spectrum.
For the Left, saying you believe in the right to bear arms can be a microaggression because, in their view, “racist” white homeowners only want to own guns so they can shoot black criminals who break into their homes.
Singing the national anthem can be a microaggression because it was written by whites to celebrate a “white nation” and is, thus, exclusionary of “people of color.”
Even something innocuous such as saying you don’t like hip hop or the blues would likely be taken as a microaggression and get you fired in Sasha Johnson’s world.
“Social Justice,” the religion of many in the modern Left, is simply another label for Cultural Marxism.
As conservative author William S. Lind, who has extensively explored the history and nature of cultural Marxism, notes:
Critical race theory is a subset of critical theory, which in turn is a central element in cultural Marxism. Like the bulk of that hideous ideology, it was created by the Frankfurt School, formally the Institute for Social Research, a Marxist think-tank founded in Frankfurt, Germany, in 1923 (it still exists). When Hitler came to power, the Frankfurt School relocated to New York City, where it remained until 1947 when it returned to Frankfurt.
The Frankfurt School translated Marxism from economic into cultural terms. The Frankfurt School’s primary goal was to destroy Western culture, which it defined as “oppressive”. Critical theory is a tool to that end.
The term is something of a play on words. What is the theory? The theory is to criticize. By submitting every aspect of Western culture to constant, unremitting criticism, it would be discredited to the point where people would abandon the ways of thinking and living it embodied. What would replace them? The Frankfurt School refused to answer that question, although one of its key members, Herbert Marcuse, promised a world of all play and no work. In the 1960s, college students in large numbers believed that promise, which is the philosophical equivalent of buying the Brooklyn Bridge.
Critical theory now wells up around us in many different forms. Feminism endlessly criticizes the family, marriage, and traditional definitions of men’s and women’s roles. Education theory demands children be taught certain “attitudes”, including disrespect for parents and elders, rather than skills or facts. Critical race theory says that all whites are inherently evil “racists” and “oppressors”, regardless of what individuals do. It demands whites grovel at the feet of blacks, endlessly apologizing for “discrimination” and “white privilege”. Even if whites do what it demands, critical race theory continues to denounce them. Like the rest of critical theory, its demands can never be satisfied, because then the criticism would end. Remember, the theory is to criticize, endlessly, relentlessly, until any defenders of Western culture or traditional ways of living are silenced, “cancelled” or liquidated.
… But cultural Marxism’s desire for “equality” is also a lie. What it actually seeks to do is invert all existing relationships…. Inversion includes putting blacks over whites, women over men, and gays over straights.
The cult of “social justice” must be rejected, in spite of the hysteric tantrums of activists such as Sasha Johnson, lest every last semblance of Western Civilization be eroded.
