Ephesians 5

1 Corinthians 6
9Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Perhaps you are asking yourself when we started down this path of sacrificing our children’s innocence and making them victims in our education system. While it may be easy to point back to the sexual revolution of the 60’s or the adaptation of the teachings of Alfred Kinsey in the 1950’s. You would not be wrong, but it wasn’t until 2003 that the laws were forever changed to introduce what God warned in Romans would be the destruction of man’s moral compass.
Romans 1
26For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Lawrence vs Taylor 2003 overturned Texas Law which criminalized sodomy between a man and a man. In his dissent Scalia wrote that if the court was not prepared to validate laws based on moral choices as it had done in Bowers, state laws against bigamy, same-sex marriage, adult incest, prostitution, masturbation, adultery, fornication, bestiality, and obscenity would not prove sustainable.[55
Scalia further argued, “If moral disapprobation of homosexual conduct is ‘no legitimate state interest’ for purposes of proscribing that conduct … what justification could there possibly be for denying the benefits of marriage to homosexual couples exercising ‘[t]he liberty protected by the Constitution?’
O’Connor noted that a law limiting marriage to heterosexual couples would pass rational scrutiny as long as it was designed to “preserv[e] the traditional institution of marriage” and not simply based on the state’s dislike of homosexual persons. Unfortunately that argument failed in the Obergefell v. Hodges case. In fact Justice Sotomayer could not site a single case to support her vote for Same Sex Marriage other than personal preference to do so.
After their victory in Lawrence Versus Taylor, the LGBTQIA Leadership continued to work their plan as outlined in “The Overhauling of Straight America”.
“Would a desensitizing campaign of open and sustained talk about gay issues reach every rabid opponent of homosexuality? Of course not. While public opinion is one primary source of mainstream values, religious authority is the other. When conservative churches condemn gays, there are only two things we can do to confound the homophobia of true believers. First, we can use talk to muddy the moral waters. This means publicizing support for gays by more moderate churches, raising theological objections of our own about conservative interpretations of biblical teachings, and exposing hatred and inconsistency. Second, we can undermine the moral authority of homophobic churches by portraying them as antiquated backwaters, badly out of step with the times and with the latest findings of psychology. Against the mighty pull of institutional Religion one must set the mightier draw of Science & Public Opinion (the shield and sword of that accursed “secular humanism”). Such an unholy alliance has worked well against churches before, on such topics as divorce and abortion. With enough open talk about the prevalence and acceptability of homosexuality, that alliance can work again here.
A media campaign to promote the Gay Victim image should make use of symbols which reduce the mainstream’s sense of threat, which lower it’s guard, and which enhance the plausibility of victimization. In practical terms, this means that jaunty mustachioed musclemen would keep very low profile in gay commercials and other public presentations, while sympathetic figures of nice young people, old people, and attractive women would be featured. (It almost goes without saying that groups on the farthest margin of acceptability such as NAMBLA, [Ed note — North American Man-Boy Love Association] must play no part at all in such a campaign: suspected child-molesters will never look like victims.)”
Now we have the SCOTUS who has changed the definition of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 by ruling in Bostock Vs Clayton County that Sexual Orientation gives a right to claim sex discrimination.
The Supreme Court first ruled that sexual orientation discrimination qualifies as sex discrimination under Title VII in Bostock v. Clayton County (2020) . At that time, the ruling was highly controversial and three conservative justices (Kavanaugh, Thomas, and Alito) forcefully dissented. In Ames v. Ohio Department of Youth Services, by contrast, there is not so much as a hint of disagreement. That doesn’t mean the Bostock dissenters have changed their minds. But it does suggest there is little or no support on the Court for trying to overrule that decision, or the general principle underlying it. Otherwise, I would have expected one or more conservative justices to at least write a concurring opinion indicating they are backing the majority only because of adherence to stare decisis.
The principle that sex orientation is sex discrimination goes beyond the Title VII employment context. It also applies to the issue of discrimination under the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. It is not clear to what extent those grounds also invalidate other types of state discrimination against LGBT people.
But if the Court – including all or most of the conservative justices – now accepts that sexual orientation discrimination is sex discrimination, that logic covers discrimination outside the marriage context. And, as Justice Gorsuch’s majority opinion in Bostock holds, it applies to discrimination against transgender people, as well as discrimination against gays and lesbians.
This leaves us with laws that force an immoral lifestyle on all Americans and most egregiously on our children. The American Education system teaches based on the laws of the land. For example, children are taught that stealing is bad. They are taught not to lie to their teacher but to keep secrets from their parents. They are taught citizenship, ethics and certain types of right and wrong, all based on what the law says. Therefore, if the law says that gender fluidity, sodomy, promiscuity, fornication and abortion are normal and are the law then children will be encouraged to participate in each activity.
Just 12 years ago the percentage of the population engaged in LGBTQIA lifestyles was 2 to 5%, with 5% being on the very high and generous side. Today we are at 39-42% of those up to 25 years of age stating they are actively engaged in LGBTQIA lifestyles. What has changed? The law! We cannot expect School Boards to rule to remove materials that support what our laws say they must teach.
SO, what is the solution? We must change our hearts to change the minds to change the laws. We must encourage healthy relationships between men and women, families having children, men having integrity, strength, purpose, hardworking, loving and self-control, women having virtue, character, strength, loving, exhortation and diligence. Building our lives around faith and trust in God through Jesus Christ and putting to death the sin that so easily destroys us.
This was my Confirmation verse given to me at the age of 14 by my Pastor, John Notehelfer at First Covenant Church in Oakland, California. I reaffirm it once again at the age of 63 and encourage all of us to pursue it.

12If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
