First I thank those of you who have been praying for and supporting our ministry in Punjab India. God is growing and expanding the ministry. Souls are being won daily. However, we are seeing an increase in persecution and it looks like that is only going to get worse. In one State in India they have passed a law to make sharing the Gospel via the media illegal. Though the Indian High Courts may strike this down at some point it is still jarring to see the level of persecution rising.

Dear Pastor Greg Young G I am writing about the persecution in India that all our Christian brothers and sisters are going through. With regards to persecution from the Sikh people, they are beating the pastors and believers during ongoing church services. They are hating Christians because so many low caste Sikh people are coming to faith. Now they don’t allow us to preach the gospel openly and are stopping the distribution of gospel tracks. In some of the Sikh villages they have passed the rule that Pastors are not allowed to enter the villages. Sikh people are strong both financially and politically. That is why police are not serious about stopping the persecution that Christians are receiving.
Regarding the persecution from the BJP Hindu Nationalists, they are hating the low caste people who have been coming to faith. They stopped giving them work and water. They treat them very badly; they are also strong financially and politically. That’s why they are trying to bring anti conversion laws here to Punjab and all over India. Keep praying that God would protect our brothers and sisters in Christ. We are so grateful to Pastor Greg Young G and our supporters for helping with the cost of providing communities with bore wells for pure and fresh water, providing them groceries, medical help, bicycles, giving free tailoring courses for widows and starting literacy classes. Unfortunately, the American government does not give visas to lower caste Christians. They give them to Sikh, Hindu and Muslim Upper Caste but not Christians. Sikh travel to Canada, the US and the UK and are getting funding from those living there, many of whom may be unaware, that funding is being directed toward making Punjab a Sikh Nation, called Khalistan and to genocide of Lower Caste Christians. Christians are killed and no one reports on it because they are usually lower caste, so no one cares, and the news does not report on deaths of lower caste. Sikh and Hindu persecution of Christians kills many monthly in Punjab, but it will never be reported, because they do not allow a recording of such events. There will never be a press conference. It would be too dangerous to hold one in country and the American government won’t say anything or grant visas for anyone to come and speak out.
Today I am sharing the names of Pastors who have been murdered or suffered attempted murder:
Dear Pastor Greg Young G Here I would like to inform that here in Punjab Christians are being persecuted in many ways by the Sikh and Hindu people. Now a days Sikh people are attacking Christians, they are killing them, attacking during Sunday services and open air meetings. They are beating Christians and threatening to kill them. In some villages they have Boycotted Christians saying that nobody would be allowed to give them anything like groceries from the shop, vegetables and necessary things for home, they even stopped giving them work in their agricultural lands, because they are the landlords. Some pastors were killed, their names are Pastor Sultan, pastor Balwinder, Pastor Peter Masih, Pastor Rakesh, pastor Sukkha, Pastor Harjeet, Pastor Kalyan, Pastor Gurpreet etc. and pastors who were attack to be killed, Pastor Jatinder, Pastor Gurjeet, Pastor Rajia, Pastor Sukhwinder, Pastor Beera, Pastor Pal Singh, Pastor Shamsher, Pastor Himat, Pastor Jagroop, Pastor Satpal, Pastor Parmjit Singh, Pastor prem, Pastor Parkash, Pastor Jagdeep, etc. In one particular case, our Pastor Sabbi, shares how he was falsely accused for attempted to Murder. He states that, “A case was filed against me so that my Church would be shut down, the police were after me and I left my Church and ran with my family, I spent so many days hiding myself and we did not have money for food. Then I shared all of my story with pastor Chaukanna and he prayed for me and financially supported us while I was in such a big need. I give thanks to God and Jesus Christ for using you Pastor”. Some of our sisters were also beaten and arrested when they were doing street evangelism. Recently one 19-year-old Christian man was shot to death by an Upper Caste Elite Rich Sikh man who expected no charges would be filed. This young man’s father is paralyzed, and his mother is working in rich houses where she faces mistreatment. So many incidents are not reported because police and government are not taking this seriously. They won’t take a FIR (First Information Report) because these attacks are happening more to Lower Caste Christians than any other group. Therefore, it’s so hard for Christians to do the ministry freely. We thank and Praise God for Pastor Greg Young G who have been praying and supporting such family who have been persecuted. As enter this December Christmas season the persecution will become more intense, In addition temperatures drop leaving the Christian Lower Caste more vulnerable. We need winter blankets, coats and shoes for both children and adults. Each outfit for adults is 900 ($11) rupees, children 450 ($6) rupees, blankets are 800 ($9) rupees, toys for the orphans are 880 ($10) rupees.
