This is a post that I previously sent out several years ago. However the Bible says there is nothing new under the sun.

Ecclesiastes 1:

9That which has been is that which will be [again],

And that which has been done is that which will be done again.

So there is nothing new under the sun.

So this is as vital to understand now as it was then, as what we see now is a repeat of what we saw then.

It seems that the left and the liberal church folk, I won’t lie to them and call them Christians, the bible forbids it, have a few issues with real Bible believing Christians and some of their beliefs. I attempt here to address a few of those issues. Let me preface by saying if you are a weak kneed, wimpy, whiny, spineless, godless pervert you will likely not like this letter about stopping shut downs, taking away guns, modest attire and ignoring the laws about ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.

I recently read a letter written by Father Vincent Paul Chavez from St Therese of the Infant Jesus Church Shrine of the Flower in Albuquerque New Mexico, assailing Christians for protesting the closure of the church and then adding in a litany of other leftwing issues he was railing against and making accusations about. He berates a member of the church who was outside protesting the churches closure and mentions them in a bulleting put out to the entire church. The man should be defrocked and I am sending this letter along with my comments to the Vatican with just such a recommendation.

While I am addressing unbiblical church goer behavior, I would be remiss in not mentioning the Matthew West issue. Matthew West penned a song entitled “Modest to Hottest” because he has two daughters that are entering teenage years and he wanted to send a message that Godly Christian behavior has a wardrobe equivalent. Dressing up like Carid B or some of the Kardashians looking like a booty call is not it. (UPDATE Kourtney Kardashian has decided there is a shorter name for a narcissist that plays with herself, AUTOSEX)Yet you can dress modestly and remain attractive. The real truth though is that a woman should want to be respected and a Godly woman is a good thing. Proverbs 18 22He who finds a wife finds a good thing, And obtains favor from the Lord. The bible also speaks to the type of wife to find, a Proverbs 31 woman. Sadly, Matthew West, issues an apology and a guy posing as pastor in Oklahoma wants his daughters to look like hoes so he can presumably fund Planned Parenthood. That is the world’s answer that humans are animals with no more self-control than a rabbit or cats in heat. The Comprehensive Sex Education being taught in public schools across this country teaches that birth control begins with Planned Parenthood and abortion and all forms of insertion into the body are good. These are unbiblical, ungodly and unamerican values. This is not remaining the salt and the light.

Now let me return to addressing the issue of church closures and shutdowns, which are still going on and this fall and winter they say will be worse. (UPDATE Get ready for the Bird Flu of 2024 ahead of the election) So get ready for what the Word has to say. We are commended to gather together, and churches should never have been closed and must remain open. The Bible speaks loudly and clearly on every one of these radical unbiblical positions taken by the ungodly left.

Hebrews 10:19Therefore, brethren, having boldness[f] to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21and having a High Priest over the house of God, 22let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

From the very beginning the model of the church was to gather together and to do so in spite of government mandates against it.

Acts 2:40And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this [l]perverse generation.” 41Then those who [m]gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. 42And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ [n]doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. 44Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, 45and [o]sold their possessions and goods, and divided[p] them among all, as anyone had need.

46So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added [q]to the church daily those who were being saved.

Acts 4: 13Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus. 14And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. 15But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, 16saying, “What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a [a]notable miracle has been done through them is evident[b] to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. 17But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name.”

18So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. 19But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. 20For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.” 21So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way of punishing them, because of the people, since they all glorified God for what had been done. 22For the man was over forty years old on whom this miracle of healing had been performed.

23And being let go, they went to their own companions and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them. 24So when they heard that, they raised their voice to God with one accord and said: “Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them, 25who [c]by the mouth of Your servant David have said:

‘Why did the nations rage,
And the people plot vain things?
26The kings of the earth took their stand,
And the rulers were gathered together
Against the
Lord and against His Christ.’

27“For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together 28to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done29Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, 30by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”

31And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

All of this scripture rejects the actions of the churches that closed their doors. Churches should have remained open. Which is better to contradict God and follow man or to follow the Lord Jesus Christ no matter what man says.

The left also recoils repeatedly at the armament of patriots for self-defense. No Second Amendment for American Citizens, only for their ANTIFA, BLM and BLM and would gladly see armed men take these citizens to jail. Here are verses to support being armed for battle.

Psalm 144:1 “Praise the Lord, who is my rock. He trains my hands for war and gives my fingers skill for battle.”

Psalm 18:34 “He trains my hands for battle; he strengthens my arm to draw a bronze bow.”

Luke 11:21 “When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own mansion, his property is safe.”

Isaiah 49:25 “Who can snatch the plunder of war from the hands of a warrior? Who can demand that a tyrant let his captives go?”

Exodus 22:2-3 “If a thief is caught in the act of breaking into a house and is struck and killed in the process, the person who killed the thief is not guilty of murder. But if it happens in daylight, the one who killed the thief is guilty of murder.”

Luke 22:35-37 “Then Jesus asked them, “When I sent you out to preach the Good News and you did not have money, a traveler’s bag, or an extra pair of sandals, did you need anything?” “No,” they replied. “But now,” he said, “take your money and a traveler’s bag. And if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one! For the time has come for this prophecy about me to be fulfilled: ‘He was counted among the rebels. Yes, everything written about me by the prophets will come true.”

I know this is long but I encourage you to read it as I believe it to be an encouragement in addressing their unscriptural stance on illegals as well. As I stated at the beginning, they have no biblical basis for their conclusions and usually allow emotion and the flesh to take over.

I wrote this in 2013:

Now, while the illegal immigration issue is being debated on all sides, there are many Christians who feel that we need to reach out to help and house the illegal children that are now here in our nation. There are others who feel that they must be returned to their homes wherever they came from as soon as possible. I would like to share several thoughts on this issue; let me begin by saying that I am moved by the plight of these children, and do not feel they need to be punished for the current state they are in.

That being said, we as Americans need to wake up to a few realities. First, the percentage of children that have come across the border, and continue to come, are a small minority in the larger picture. However, we are completely ignorant to the dangers that even a small child from somewhere like the Middle East could pose.

I recently went to Mason, Texas to hear Kamal Saleem speak. Kamal fulfilled his first Jihad mission at the age of seven — delivering bombs into Israel. Those who fought in Vietnam know how the children were used as weapons. The enemy we face today has taken the minds of many of these young people and turned them against America. We must understand the enemy.

Secondly, many of the teen aged illegal immigrants are active gang members and working for the cartels. They are being shipped further into our nation and are expanding the territories of the cartels in the United States. They bring murder, rape, disease, theft and intimidation into our neighborhoods.

If you have read this far I hope you will stick with me because I am about to challenge your biblical basis for extending aid to these illegals; but first, let me also add that there is a legal way to enter the country.

While the system has its issues and needs review, when we destroy the Rule of Law, we are teaching these children that “by any means necessary” is a law unto itself. So years from now when faced with a moral dilemma, what will they do? They will do what is going to best benefit themselves because that is what this ordeal is teaching them.

Now, to address the biblical issue. The Israelites were given specific instructions on how to handle foreigners. The foreigner was expected to renounce their foreign ways and to embrace the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They were expected to adhere to the Ten Commandments and the other Jewish laws as given in Leviticus. They would not be accepted if they chose not to follow these steps.

Now, for those who will point to the New Testament and Jesus’ love thy neighbor verses, let me point something out to you: Jesus spoke of ‘neighbor’ and when asked for an example he gave the story of the Samaritan. So what is a Samaritan? Are they a Philistine? A Canaanite? Perhaps an Egyptian? Maybe a Roman? NO!! They were half Jewish and they practiced Jewish customs. They were the ones Jesus chose to use as the example. Were they despised by the Jews? Yes, they were. But they were still of the blood of Israel (Jacob). Jesus had a variety of neighbors at His disposal as He created the story.

He did not call the Romans neighbors. He did not refer to any of the near neighbors who were not of the Jewish blood line. The others did not follow the Jewish laws, did not worship the same God and did not have the same allegiances. The Samaritans were the only ones who turned to Jerusalem to pray. With that being said, we must recognize that these are not our neighbors in a biblical sense.

I had a friend ask me about the plaque on the Statue of Liberty. “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!” This was written as a memorial to the immigrants who came to America through legal means and to what America stands for as a light for those seeking freedom.

The people we have been coming across the border illegally are not akin to those who came by ship to the shores of America to whom the statute honors. Legal immigrants are welcome and should be given a place of refuge under the conditions set forth in our laws, given that they desire to be Americans first and all else second. That is what brought my Great Great Grandfather on a ship from Italy to America. It is what my Great Great Great Great Grandparents traveled on the Mayflower to start – a land of the free and home of the brave.

America has held that place of greatness because she has had laws and equality of the administration of those laws. If we allow illegals to destroy those laws, then we are no longer America and they are no longer coming to the land of the free. Freedom demands that we follow these laws, and morality is what makes that happen.

The Church must be the bedrock of that morality. Right is always right. Christians, we must lead the call to for justice and reject the call to exhibit lawlessness and call it grace. To withstand a tyrant who calls us to abandon our Christianity is one thing… to lead a lawless and illegal people and to harbor such is another thing entirely.

Here is a final example. There was a German homeschooling family who fled to America, sought and received Asylum for religious persecution because they were forbidden to home school so they could raise their child in a Christian environment. The Federal Government said no and tried to deport them.

Many Christians raised their voices because this was a clear case of religious persecution. Many would have defied the law for the purpose of preserving Christian faith, like the baker in Colorado or the Photographer in New Mexico. They were persecuted and told to stop speaking the Christian message. For these causes, civil disobedience is demanded. But this is not illegal immigration.

This is the violation of our borders and the destruction of laws that guarantee the very freedoms that they are supposed to be coming here to obtain.

Standing for our God given right to Life (Job 34:14-15 Genesis 2:7) , Liberty (John 8:31-36, Romans 6:15-23) and the pursuit of Happiness (John 10:10)

Be strong and be not afraid! The Lord your God is with thee!
