The sheriff of Florida’s Polk County said The Walt Disney Company is run by pedophiles and child predators, presenting evidence of arrests made by his office as proof of this claim.

Sheriff Grady Judd made the remarks during a June 19 interview with WKMG 6 as he announced the results of Operation Child Predator II. The sting operation by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) was conducted alongside the Auburndale and Winter Haven police departments.

The two-week operation involved detectives posing as children on various social media platforms, mobile apps and online dating sites “to investigate those who prey upon and travel to meet children for unlawful sexual activity.” A bus driver for Disney World was among the 12 suspects nabbed in the sting.

“What would an operation be – either a pornography investigation or predator operation or human trafficking operation – without a Disney employee? We always have a Disney employee,” said the sheriff. (Related: Sheriff Judd: Disney is run by pedophiles, ‘arrests are being made.’)

Judd zoomed in on Zachary Hudson, the Disney employee caught in the operation. Hudson, 30, engaged in an online conversation with an undercover detective posing as a 15-year-old girl. The Disney employee allegedly remarked that “age is just a number” and said he was not bothered by the age gap.

The conversation moved to text messaging, where the Disney bus driver sent sexually-charged text messages and a nude picture. Detectives then obtained a warrant for Hudson’s arrest, and he was subsequently charged with transmission of material harmful to a minor and use of a two-way communication device to commit a felony – both third-degree felonies.

“So if your bus was running late at Disney, [Hudson] was busy taking pictures of himself and talking trash to what he thought was a little girl,” remarked Judd.

According to Judd, 10 of the suspects they bagged as a result were from the Sunshine State. One hailed from Michigan, while another hailed from Alabama.

Not the first time Disney employees were caught in pedophile stings

The arrests announced June 19 was not the first PCSO operation in which Disney employees were involved. Operations conducted in August 2021 and March 2022 saw some Disney employees join child predators taken into custody.

Back in March, Judd announced the arrest of 108 child predators during the six-day Operation March Sadness II that month. Of the 108 arrested, four were Disney employees.

A 27-year-old man who was a lifeguard at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort allegedly sent sexual images of himself to an undercover detective posing as a 14-year-old girl. Other Disney employees arrested in the sting include a 24-year-old man working at the Cosmic Restaurant, a 45-year-old IT worker and a 27-year old software developer.

“Four arrests of this magnitude in a week is simply remarkable,” said Judd.

Another operation, this time back in August 2021, nabbed 17 suspects – including three Disney employees. The arrests were the product of the six-day Operation Child Protector sting, which involved multiple agencies.

Walt Disney Hollywood Studios custodians Savannah Lawrence, 29, and Jonathan McGrew, 34, were two of the child predators arrested. Officials claimed the couple wanted to engage in sexual activity with a 13-year-old girl in a role playing situation.

Meanwhile, 26-year-old Kenneth Javier Aquino worked as a lifeguard at Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge. According to Judd, the Navy veteran was even dressed in his work clothes when he came to meet with the child he was talking to. Detectives awaited Aquino at the appointed location, where they arrested him.

“We obviously can’t show you the pictures and the video clips that they sent to what they thought were little girls and little boys,” commented the Polk County sheriff. “These are nasty, nasty, nasty people. When we go through this, understand that obviously, we can’t even use the words they used.”
